FRED 2.0 is here!
Click on Services in the menu above and then look for the bookmobile photo for more information.  Or you can use the link below to access the bookmobile calendar directly.
The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Green Bin Campaign – Get Your Free Bookmarks

Your local library is a great place to learn about the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority’s (EWSWA) new Green Bin program. You can see what the green bins look like and collect five Green Superhero bookmarks. A new local book, The Apple Core is also available for borrowing. W.F. Chisholm Branch Benefits from Transit Windsor Sunday Service

Transit Windsor is rolling out service improvements, and one of the beneficiaries will be visitors to the W.F. Chisholm Branch of Windsor Public Library on Sundays. Located at 1075 Ypres Avenue, the branch will now be served by the newly introduced Route 315, part of Transit Windsor’s expanded commitment to Sunday service. The latest edition of the Pagination Literary Arts Zine is now available online. This special edition is a vibrant collaboration between the Windsor Public Library (WPL) and the Detroit Public Library system, showcasing a dynamic mix of flash fiction, poetry, collage, and illustration. The zine features work from both emerging and established artists across Windsor, Detroit, and other parts of Canada and the United States.
