PLEASE NOTE: We are in the process of updating these pages. Some links are not working, but we are working to fix them quickly. If a book link doesn’t work, you can still search for the title in our new catalogue.
Welcome to Learn@Home from Windsor Public Library. Just as we would if you visited us in a library branch, we have gathered together a variety of resources from WPL’s digital collection as well as carefully chosen some trusted online sources to support or supplement your learning at home activities. The pages are arranged by grade and then subject in our menu at the top of the screen, and broken down into expectations from the Ontario government’s Ministry of Education curriculum; we have tried to give you a variety of options to ensure there is something for everyone. Please note a few things to keep in mind:
All Windsor Public Library e-resources are available at no charge through our website. Some of our products require that you download an app, and then create an account with another password. Others simply require that you sign in with your WPL card number and library PIN. Don’t have a library card? We can sign you up for an e-card.
Hoopla has a current limit of 5 titles per month per card; bonus materials are also available.
Kanopy has a limit of 30 tickets per month, and the number of tickets required varies by item. Kanopy Kids (same site/app) is unlimited.
CloudLibrary has ebooks that work similarly to physical items. We own only so many copies of each title, so titles may not be available right away, and you may need to place holds. There is a limit of 20 titles checked out and 20 on hold at a time; as you return an item, you can check out another.
Check out some of our videos on youtube to walk you through some of our services and resources. We are creating more all the time!
