Board Meetings:

The next meeting of the Windsor Public Library Board will take place at 4:30pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 in Room 140 – 350 City Hall Square W.

Members of the public are welcome to attend unless specified otherwise.

Presentations and Delegations

Any person or organization wishing to appear before the Board shall submit a written request, including subject matter to be addressed, no less than 3 days prior to the meeting. Delegations will be allocated five minutes to address items which are before the Board.  Requests can be sent to the Board Secretary, kkadour@citywindsor.ca, to be added to the agenda.


WPL Policies Amendment/Triennial Review

All WPL policies are reviewed by the Windsor Public Library Board (WPLB) on a three-year cycle. After initial review and approval in principle by the Board, draft policies are posted on the WPL website for public feedback. Following the comment period, policies are formally adopted by a two-thirds majority vote at a duly constituted Board meeting and then published on the website.

The Governance Policies are due for review in Fall 2026.

At the June 16, 2026 WPLB Meeting, amendments were approved to the Foundation Policy – F6 – Material Selection Policy. The amended policy will be available shortly.
