The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Library Schedules Open House on New Branch

Later this year, construction will begin on a $2,518,000 heritage project designed to renovate the 1921 Sandwich Fire Hall and stable on Mill Street into a public library. City and library staff have scheduled an OPEN HOUSE to discuss concepts and options for the library project. Construction on the new John Muir Branch is scheduled to begin in late summer 2017 and be completed in the fall of 2018. WPL Partners With Artcite Inc.

Windsor Public Library is excited to collaborate with Artcite Inc. by temporarily hosting two works of arts as part of Artcite’s Dar’a/Full Circle exhibition. New library at Optimist Community Centre ahead of schedule

Construction of the new Windsor Public Library branch at the Optimist Community Centre (1075 Ypres Avenue) is well ahead of schedule and will open before the January 2018 advertised date. Representatives from the City of Windsor and Windsor Public Library gathered at the Optimist Community Centre to ‘break the wall’ between the new library and the community centre, officially joining the two entities. Seed Lending Library Opening at Central

Due to the overwhelming success of the seed lending library at our Forest Glade Branch, we are excited to announce that a seed lending library is now coming to our Central Branch.
