FRED 2.0 is here!
Click on Services in the menu above and then look for the bookmobile photo for more information.  Or you can use the link below to access the bookmobile calendar directly.
The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Holiday Hours at Windsor Public Library – Plan Ahead!

The holidays are here, and so are our special hours! Between December 22 and January 1, Windsor Public Library branches will be operating on adjusted schedules. Windsor Public Library is proud to share a special podcast honouring our World War II veterans. “Those Who Served: Stories from Windsor’s WWII Veterans” is the latest of the Stories of Windsor podcast and draws from an original collection of oral histories housed at the Local History Branch. The one-hour podcast features a collection of voices recorded in 1999 when staff and volunteers interviewed 51 World War II veterans from Windsor-Essex for posterity.
