Windsor Public Library Adds Payment Option to Website

Windsor Public Library customers can now use their credit cards to pay fines and fees or make donation payments, all through the library’s website (www.windsorpubliclibrary.com) at any time, day or night through SMARTPAY.

Developed by Comprise Technologies, the leading independent provider of technology access and revenue management solutions for libraries and municipalities,   SMARTPAY is an additional service introduced to assist and facilitate enhanced customer service at WPL. The secure online payment solution links with the library’s existing system so payments are automatically posted to customer accounts. With SmartPAY, payments are posted in real time to customer accounts.

Customers will need their library card and PIN numbers to log in to SmartPay from the library webpage and retrieve details of their library account. They will be able to see their balance, select items to pay, and securely charge their credit card. SmartPay requires a minimum $5 payment which can consist of multiple fines. SmartPay can be found under the Windsor Public Library Catalogue (Pay Fines/Fees Tab)

Comprise Technologies is a global leader in secure payment transaction processing. SmartPay meets the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), as well as the security certification requirements of every major credit card processor, financial institution, and government accounting office.
