Digital magazines are now available in the CloudLibrary App!
Looking for digital magazines? They’ve joined our ebooks and eAudiobooks in the CloudLibrary app! CloudLibrary Newsstand offers over 7500 titles in 60 languages, including customer favourites like Time, the New Yorker, National Geographic, and HGTV. Access is unlimited, and all issues are available on demand.
If you’re already using the CloudLibrary App, no action is required on your end. When you open the App you’ll see a button for magazines. If you’re new to CloudLibrary, you can find links to the App in the App section of our website – or by searching in the App Store or Google Play.
If you prefer to read in a browser, you’ll find a link to CloudLibrary Newsstand in the Magazine section of our Databases page. With the browser version, you’ll need to create an account using your email address, library card, and PIN the first time you log in; once your account is set, you’ll use your email address to log in for future visits.
Magazines and Newspapers can also still be accessed with your library card through PressReader, but please note that access to Libby magazines is no longer available through Windsor Public Library.
I am wondering if the following magazines can be added to the Cloud Library magazines: Radio Times UK, Hello! – UK, Prima Uk, Good Housekeeping UK, Canadian House & Home, Style at Home (Can.) Canadian Living, Embroidery The Textile Art Magazine,
Thanks.
Thank you for reaching out! We do not have the ability to add specific titles to CloudLibrary. It is a subscription service (similar to Netflix) where titles are added and dropped by the vendor. It looks like all of these titles, except for Canadian H&H and Embroidery, are available for you to read through our PressReader App. Please let us know if you need help getting started with PressReader.
Today, I stopped into the Riverside branch of WPL for some help getting started with PressReader. I would like to give a shout out to David at Riverside who was so helpful. Thanks, David!
Thank you for the kind words and I’m happy David was able to help you enjoy press reader!
