Step Right Up for the ‘How-To’ Festival 2016

Windsor Public Library is excited to once again host our ‘How-To Festival’! On Saturday, September 10 from 11am-3pm, the public is invited to stop by to learn some fun and interesting skills in just 10 minutes or less.  We had so much fun at last year’s festival at Budimir Library that we’ve decided to expand the event to two locations – Budimir and Central Libraries, and almost 30 experts!

We have a great roster which includes some favorites from last year and some exciting new additions for 2016! From arts to wellness to keeping you organized, we’ve got something for everyone.

This year’s experts include:

Elizabeth Prosser – Simple magic tricks

Financial Fitness – Learn your money habitude

Get Organized – Taming clutter

Laura Pepper – Using watercolour pencils

Lee Lee Hats – Looming

Liana LoDuca – Photography basics

Lori Hickey, RMT – Chair massage

Mind Strong – Brain training methods

Posh Pooch – Trimming your dog’s nails

Royal Scottish Country Dance Society – Scottish country dance

Scouts Canada – Tying a basic knot

South Windsor School of Music – Basic guitar skills

South Asian Centre of Windsor – Classical Indian dance

Vanessa Shields – Poetry on demand

Windsor Essex-County Health Unit – Making healthy school lunches and flavored waters

Windsor-Essex County Humane Society – Training your dog

And more!

Rain or shine, the show must go on! We look forward to seeing you there. And who knows, you may just find your new hobby.
