The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Automotive Archives to Open at Windsor Public Library

When the new Automotive Archives open at Windsor Public Library, it will be the first of its kind in Canada and will be a celebration of the automobile, the industry and its importance to the development of Windsor and Essex County. Windsor Public Library To Host Scott Chantler

Scott Chantler, the acclaimed creator of the graphic novel TWO GENERALS, will be at Windsor Public Library (850 Ouellette Avenue) on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 p.m., to talk and interact with teens and others about the graphic novel. R.I.P Wes Craven

Wes Craven, best known for his blockbuster horror flicks, passed away on Sunday at the age of 76, after battling brain cancer. Wes Craven burst on to the scene with his movie, The Last House on the Left, which he wrote and directed in 1972. Filmed on a very small budget, the movie hit big at the box office, and turned Wes Craven into a household name. The movie was even remade in 2009, with a different director, but produced by Craven’s own studio Midnight Pictures. Continue Reading...

R.I.P. Oliver W. Sacks, CBE

Oliver Sacks, the influential neurologist and writer many called the “poet laureate of medicine,” has died at his home in New York City. He was 82. The London-born academic was the author of several books about unusual medical conditions, including The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars. Dr. Sacks wrote passionately and sympathetically about his patients.
