Click on Services in the menu above and then look for the bookmobile photo for more information.  Or you can use the link below to access the bookmobile calendar directly.
The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

R.I.P Wes Craven

Wes Craven, best known for his blockbuster horror flicks, passed away on Sunday at the age of 76, after battling brain cancer. Wes Craven burst on to the scene with his movie, The Last House on the Left, which he wrote and directed in 1972. Filmed on a very small budget, the movie hit big at the box office, and turned Wes Craven into a household name. The movie was even remade in 2009, with a different director, but produced by Craven’s own studio Midnight Pictures. Continue Reading...

R.I.P. Oliver W. Sacks, CBE

Oliver Sacks, the influential neurologist and writer many called the “poet laureate of medicine,” has died at his home in New York City. He was 82. The London-born academic was the author of several books about unusual medical conditions, including The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars. Dr. Sacks wrote passionately and sympathetically about his patients. Windsor Public Library customers now have access to 100 popular Walt Disney movies which can be streamed to smart phones, tablets and computers.  Thanks to a new content licensing agreement between The Walk Disney Studios and hoopla digital, public libraries across North America can now provide online and mobile access to all of the most popular Disney titles. Adult Sensory Reading Group Creates Their Own Book

The Adult Sensory Reading circle at Windsor Public Library Riverside Branch was very excited this past week to see their book printed.  As a group, we read Michael Hall’s book The Perfect Square, and decided to create our own version.  We called our book The Happy Square, and wrote a story about a square that was bored with being a square.  This square changed into many different different things, but in the end decided it was happy with being a square.
