The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Seminole Branch Receives Some TLC

Windsor residents who haven’t stopped by Seminole Branch recently are in for a pleasant surprise when they return.  New shelving, new flooring, a new external book drop and new seating provide a welcoming environment to area customers looking to ‘beat the heat’ and at the same time check out the many resources available which inform, entertain and educate. Can you solve this mystery?

Wasn’t it great news to learn the contest to find all the clues contained in a book about the War of 1812 by Dennis White has finally been solved!  Now the Windsor Public Library has its own mystery we hope the public can unravel. Partnership Promotes Water Sustainability

ENWIN, in partnership with the City of Windsor and Windsor Public Library will partner to construct a Demonstration Rain Garden at the Forest Glade Branch. The project concept was proposed by Grade 8 students on the Robotics Team at L.A. Desmarais Catholic Elementary School with support from Ward 7 Councillor Irek Kusmierczyk, and spearheaded by Windsor Public Library and ENWIN. New Temporary Location Selected For Central Library

The Windsor Public Library Board announced the sale of Central Library to the Downtown Mission in February with the building scheduled to change hands at the end of June next year.  Since then we have looked at  over 20 possible temporary sites to house the Central Branch while plans are firmed up for a new permanent downtown location. Family Friendly Movies To Be Screened Outside This Summer

With the end of the school year fast approaching, parents across Windsor will be looking for fun activities which appeal to the whole family – and if they’re free, so much the better!
