The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

WPL Adopts Plan to Address Racism and Social Inequity

WPL Branches Scheduled To Re-Open at the End of August

WPL to provide Technology and Assistance to Seniors

The COVID-19 pandemic and the associated isolation has demonstrated that particular segments of the community – particularly senior citizens – have struggled to maintain communication with family, grappled with the complexities of online shopping and wrestled with everyday tasks that most find commonplace. Computer Access Available at All Branches

As of next Monday (August 17), public computer access will be available at all WPL branches – with Chisholm, Forest Glade and Seminole joining the list of locations already offering the service. All public access computer stations are separated by Plexiglas dividers and social distancing between stations is in effect – resulting in a reduced number of computers in operation. Central Branch Opens Doors For Public Computer Use

Effective Monday, July 27, Central Branch (185 Ouellette Avenue) of Windsor Public Library will open for customers wanting computer and internet access.  The trial period will run through Friday, July 31, at which time a decision will be made on the feasibility and practicality of gradually opening the doors at all branches.  It should be noted that Central Branch will ONLY open for computer access.
