Lee Sartori

Lee Sartori is a crochet designer behind CoCo Crochet Lee. She is also the Assistant Editor of Happily Hooked Magazine, a popular publication for crochet enthusiasts. Along withLee Sartori her Editor position at Happily Hooked, she has also run Happily Hooked’s Social Media Department which includes crochet alongs and LIVE weekly video chats.

Lee can also be seen as a guest host on Season 9 of the popular PBS Show, “Knit and Crochet Now”, as well as a cast member of “Annie’s Creative Studio” where she demonstrates fun crochet skills and patterns. Lee’s passion is designing modern, wearable garments, and adorable amigurumi. A new trend in crochet, amigurumi is a Japanese word that describes small knitted or crocheted stuffed toys using bright colours.

Lee started crocheting after her daughter was born and has never stopped. Her inspiration to create her own designs came from her own son born 4 years after her daughter. She wanted to make him special hats, she could not find any cute crochet patterns for boys very easily, so he made her own.

Lee lives Windsor with her two small children, husband, and an adorable bunny named Neville. Lee has both Instagram and Facebook accounts were she posts her beautiful designs and whimsical takes on crochet patterns. If she is not crocheting, she is deep into social media.
