Giving to WPL
Leave a Legacy
More than 100 years ago, a substantial gift from Andrew Carnegie made it possible to build the first library in Windsor. Since then, the Windsor Public Library has grown with the intellectual and educational needs of our city to include nine branch libraries and the Central Library. Your support is needed to continue building on this foundation of excellence for future generations of Windsorites. Children, adults, seniors and the business community alike benefit from the wide range of resources available at the Windsor Public Library.

Gift and Memorial Fund
It’s now easier than ever for individuals to give to the Windsor Public Library in honour or in memory of a loved one through the Library’s Gift and Memorial Fund. This is an excellent way to honour or remember friends and family members on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and marriages.
All donations are tax deductible and can be directed to the library branch of your choice. A bookplate will be placed in a new item being added to the collections in honour or in memory of your loved one.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the Gift and Memorial Fund may do so at any Windsor Public Library.
