Jim Stuart

First appointed to the Windsor Public Library Board in June 2006, Jim Stuart returns following a short hiatus. Jim believes the role of a public library is tremendously important, as they help build the community and act as community hubs – particularly for those disadvantaged members of society. As WPL plans for the future, Jim looks forward to contributing to the successful projects at the Optimist Community Centre, Budimir and the Old Fire Hall on Mill Street. A retired teacher, Jim strongly advocates for improving the social and intellectual interests of Windsor citizens. When not busy with volunteer duties, he is an avid reader and lists God is not Great by Christopher Hitchens as a favourite read.
