IMPACT OF PROVINCIAL AND EMERGENCY STAY-AT-HOME ORDER

Windsor Public Library will be offering limited and modified service that aligns with the Ontario Provincial Emergency and Stay-at-Home order effective April 8, 2021.

Windsor Public Library will only be open for curbside pick-up and delivery service.   All in-branch services are suspended.

Although closed to bricks-and-mortar visits, WPL staff will provide enhanced online services and continue to assist customers with resources, materials and questions.

To access materials, customers place holds on materials in the same manner as always by accessing your library account on our website or by reserving them by telephone.  On receipt of notification that the order is ready, customers should proceed to their pick-up location of choice.    Appointments for pick-up are not required.  Simply identify yourself with your library card and staff will retrieve your holds.

Although in-person browsing has been suspended, your library card provides access to online resources for all ages, which can be accessed any time, and from anywhere. Books, magazines, movies, music are available, free of charge.

Branches will be open for curbside pick-up Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.  All branches will be closed Sunday during the Stay-at-Home Order.

Windsor’s Community Archives and the Local History Branch will remain closed.
