The Great Courses are a series of post secondary level educational videos instructed by professors, subject matter experts, and industry leading professionals. They allow you to access higher education on your own time, and at your own pace. There are courses in a wide variety of subjects ranging anywhere from Mindfulness and Photography to Ancient Civilizations, Language Study, Finance, and Law; there are roughly 5000 videos to choose from. If you’re interested in The Great Courses but prefer a physical format, we also have several of The Great Courses kits available to checkout at the library.

If you’re new to Kanopy, it is an App available exclusively to library cardholders that offers streaming access to thousands of films including documentaries, independent films, festival favourites, selections from The Criterion Collection, and much more. It can installed on most tablets, smartphones, and TV streaming devices.
