Fines & Fees
Effective February 20, 2017.
Overdue fines are charged for items returned after the due date, based on format and user.
FINES – OVERDUE MATERIAL
|Overdue fine per day|
|Special items i.e. DVDs, Blu-Rays, Quick Reads, Video Games, eReaders, Book Club Kits, ILLO)||$1.15/day per item|
|Adult material||$0.40 cents/day per item|
|Children and teen (0-17 years old) material||$0.15 cents/day per item|
|Young Adult Late Fee (users 13 to 17 years/applies to all other materials not listed as Special Items)||$0.15 cents/day per item|

|Librarian Research fee
(half hour minimum)
charged in 15-minute increments.
|Copying done by Librarian
Copying can be mailed or faxed and digital scans of microfilm can be emailed.
|$1/page ($5 minimum)|
|Lost material fines: charged for items which are not returned within six months of the due date, or are returned in bad condition. Replacement copies are NOT accepted in lieu of lost item fees.|

|Book on CD||$40|
|CD – music||$20|
Any account with total accumulated fines of $50 or more which is not paid for 6 weeks will be referred to the collection agency, Unique Management Services. A $15 collection fees is added to an unpaid account sent to the collection agency.
