Looking for eBooks & eAudiobooks? You can now find them in the cloudLibrary App! As we announced a little while back, we have begun a partnership with cloudLibrary as our content provider for both eBooks and eAudiobooks. While we were transferring titles from Overdrive/Libby and Axis 360 to cloudLibrary we offered limited access to those two Apps; now that the content has migrated, we have ended access to those two platforms. You can no longer log into Overdrive/Libby and/or Axis 360 to borrow and read content with your Windsor Public Library Card.

Why the move? This has been a very popular question. Here are some of the advantages gained in moving to cloudLibrary:

• Convenience: You can now search for books in one App instead of two.
•  More books: Through cloudLinking with other libraries in Ontario, you’ll have access to a greater number of titles – both eBooks & eAudio.
• Library announcements: Some of you we surprised (and a little panicked) when you discovered you couldn’t log into Libby (and the other Apps) anymore. With cloudLibrary there is a Library Messages feature built right into the App – helping us to ensure that important announcements make their way to you.
