Fall Programs for Teens

Are you looking for something fun to do this fall? Windsor Public Library is offering some great Teen Programs throughout the system. We invite you to come by and see what we’re all about!

CENTRAL LIBRARY:

Teen Zone – Tuesday through Thursday; 3:30-5:00pm

The Teen Zone Drop-in Centre is an afterschool program for teens. Looking for a welcoming space to hang out, meet new people, play games, dohomework and explore your artistic side? Check out the Teen Zone at Central Library.

Girls Analyzing Books – Monday, September 9; 5:30-6:30pm

A book club created for teen girls. Voice your opinions about books, media and culture from a female perspective. Meet local authors and share your ideas with other teens. For girls ages 12 and up. For more info call 519-255-6770, Ext. 4402.

HideAway Book SafeThursday, September 19; 6:00-7:30pm

Who says reading hardcover books is a waste of time when you have eReaders and iPods? Make your own book safe reusing a hardcover book. Hide personal items on a shelf in your bedroom or locker in this creative way to reuse old books. Ages 12 to and up. To register call 519-255-6770, Ext. 4402.

BUDIMIR LIBRARY:

Teen Advisory Group – Wednesday, September 11; 6:30-7:30pm

Attention teens! Want your voice to be heard? Want to earn a few extra volunteer hours? Join our Teen Advisory Group. We’re looking for members ages 13 to 17 to share ideas and activities each month. Every other month is book chat month. To register call 519-255-6770, Ext. 3320.

Homework Haven – Tuesdays and Thursdays; 3:30-5:00pm

Do you need a quiet place to prepare for an upcoming test or work on a project with a group? Are you a tutor who is looking for some space to meet with your students? We invite you use our program room as your supervised study space.
