“Prentisstown isn’t like other towns. Everyone can hear everyone’s thoughts in an overwhelming never-ending stream of Noise. But in a town where privacy is impossible, there is a secret so awful that Todd, still a month shy of being a man, must run for his life. But how do you escape when your pursuers can hear your ever thought?”
This first installment in the Chaos Walking trilogy is so unique, you’ll never find it anywhere else. It is quite confusing at first, but once it explains some things, it gets easier to understand. It’s totally different from what I normally read, but my friends had to read it for English class and they kept shoving it in my face saying, ‘Oh, you have GOT to read this!’ I’m glad they did because I don’t normally like Science Fiction stuff, but this series is definitely an exception.
