All through the night, Clay keeps listening. He follows Hannah’s recorded words throughout his small town…
…and what he discovers changes his life forever.”
This depressing story will rip your heart to shreds and then set it on fire, leaving you in pieces. This book is one of the few that even if you don’t read often, will never leave your mind. People don’t realize that what you say or do can affect a person deeply and may case them to make a choice they may not have considered had you not said or done something. It could be a small sentence or a large event. The little things count and I think we, as humans, forget that. As I was reading, I was shocked that so many characters were just oblivious to what they were causing. Afterwards, I considered the fact that I too may have done something, just as everyone has done one or two things that could later affect someone. Sometimes it really isn’t as simple as it seems.
