If you have children you read to, or are just a fan yourself of the many excellent picture books available, be sure to take a look at the Pete the Cat books by Eric Litwin. Pete is a groovy cat, who doesn’t let much of anything get him down. The story “I Love My White Shoes” shows just how adaptable and positive Pete is, as his new shoes go through some changes that might upset another cat. Pete doesn’t let those changes bother him. A great story about looking on the bright side!
