L.A. Desmarais Presents Art to Forest Glade Library

The Forest Glade Library was given a wonderful surprise by a grade 5 class from L.A. Desmarais Catholic School: a beautiful collection of drawings created to encourage people to use the library. These pictures are based upon the books students had borrowed from the library this year.

Hopefully, these pictures will encourage you to use the library and find your own portrait-worthy book to take home!

 

   

               

Art Adoption: Bringing Awareness To Pets Needing Homes

Windsor Public Library invited the community to spread some love through art, and the response was amazing. People of all ages created drawings and paintings all inspired by the pets waiting for homes at our local Humane Society.

Each piece was created with the intention of brightening the shelter and raising awareness for animals in need of a second chance. We will deliver this collection directly to the Humane Society, where it will be displayed to encourage adoption in a meaningful way.
