Winter Hours Begin Sunday, September 17th

With the summer now almost behind us, Windsor Public Library’s winter hours will commence this coming Sunday, September 17th. Sunday hours will also begin at Budimir, Central and Riverside branches and all three locations will be open 1-5pm for the duration of Winter hours. Pop Up Libraries Coming this Summer!

We’re excited to announce pop-up libraries in a couple of Ward 9 parks during the warmer months!  We’ll be at Captain John Wilson (Thursday mornings) and Walker Homesite Park (Monday evenings) every three weeks with all sorts of fun library activities!  Come take a break in our tent, enjoy free Wifi, charge your device, make a library card or craft, and learn more about our resources. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. All branches of Windsor Public Library will be closed, but displays of Indigenous content and resources will be featured at all branches and online at the Digital Branch throughout the week.  Also please check windsorpubliclibrary.com for additional information and resources. August Outdoor Movie Night – The Super Mario Bros. Movie – Rescheduled to September 8th

Windsor Public Library is excited to offer another fun, FREE outdoor movie night on Friday, September 8th at Fontainebleau Park (2690 Rivard Avenue). We’re pleased to be joined once again by the Friends of Fontainebleau group! Family-friendly activities begin at 6:30pm and the movie begins at sundown (approx. 8:15 pm). Summer Reading Program Kicks off on July 8th

Windsor Public Library is once again offering a full summer of fun and activities planned for children – and they are all free of charge! FOREST GLADE BRANCH CELEBRATES 35 YEARS

Forest Glade branch is celebrating a birthday on Monday, May 15.  For 35 years it has been providing entertainment, educational and information resources to the residents of East Windsor. An Open House is scheduled from 3 to 5 pm.  Library staff would love to have the community stop by to celebrate:  food, fun activities and giveaways are scheduled.
