Every year on June 21st, Canada celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day. This day is a celebration of the diverse cultures and history of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people of Canada.

A special thank you to Stirs the Fire Steven Mull for making this year’s National Indigenous Peoples Day at Central Library so special for our patrons and staff.

For more information about the region’s Indigenous history and cultures please visit Windsor Public Library and make sure to browse our Indigenous Knowledge Collection, housed at the Central location at 185 Ouellette Avenue in downtown Windsor.
