Continuing with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations for the month of June, this week’s Throwback Thursday Pic is another image of the then Princess Elizabeth and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip on their visit to Windsor in 1951. This trip was taken in the fall of 1951 and was a cross Canada 33 day visit that included a stop in Windsor. Also included in the photograph is the Mayor of Windsor at the time Arthur Reaume and other city official, participating in a ceremony at the city’s waterfront.
