With winter behind us and summer just around the corner, parents across Windsor will be looking for activities that appeal to the whole family.
Following up on a successful outdoor movie season in 2019, Windsor Public Library is happy to announce that our outdoor movie nights are back and that we’ll be embarking on a summer schedule of family friendly fun at locations across the city. And best of all – attendance is free!
Fun and games start Friday, June 3 at Queen Victoria P.S. at 1376 Victoria Avenue. Family activities begin at 7 pm, followed by a screening of ENCANTO at sunset – which we estimate to be between 8:30 and 9 pm.
The state-of-the-art movie projection system to screen movies outside – at parks, community centres and other venues across Windsor – consists of a 25 ft. inflatable screen, projector, top-of-the-line sound system and an ultra-quiet generator.
Families planning on attending should bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Additional screenings and the summer schedule will be released soon.
