Sandwich Library – National Novel Writing Month For Teens and Adults

LIBRARY LIVE TEEN WRITING CLUB discusses stories they have recently read. November is NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH. Library Live Writing Club members are off and planning their writing. If you haven’t heard of this writing challenge please go to to learn the details. At Sandwich Library 3312 if you are 13 or older, you will find space to write Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  Adults are also welcomed. Teens will meet on Saturday, November 25 to have additional discussions on how our stories are going.  Good luck!

NaNo Kick-Off Party!!

The 2017 NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Party will take place at the lovely GreenBean Cafe on Wyandotte, down the street from the University Campus. Come on out to meet your Windsor Wrimos and discuss your writing plans for the month ahead. Join us at the Kick-Off Party and get inspired for an idea. We’ll have some information booklets about NaNo for our new and past participants, amazing tips for writers, and cool prizes for our games, word-wars and Stickers!!

Description: The Leddy Library is a beautiful, peaceful library, where your inspiration will soar! Come on and all and be inspired and motivated to start NaNo off on a brilliant streak, and show your appreciation to the University of Windsor Leddy Library staff for donating this wonderful space and for hosting the weekly Thursday write-ins! Make sure to sign in at the front desk where you will be directed to the write-in location: in room 302 West building of Leddy Library.
