We’re almost a month into 2017 and, if you’re anything like us, you’re trying your best to hang on to those New Year’s resolutions! Many of us have health-based resolutions such as eating healthfully, exercising more or focusing less on the daily stresses of life. Here at WPL we know that it can be quite challenging to stick with these healthy habits once the shine wears off the New Year! It’s for that reason that we’ve developed a monthly series of workshops dedicated to helping you staying on track.
In January we hosted an afternoon of yoga with Yoga Recess and had a great time while learning some new moves! This month we’re focusing on improving our nutrition with nautropathic doctor, Dr. Harrison Oake. Dr. Oake will be speaking about navigating the complicated world of nutrition. Taking a simplified approach, he’ll guide you through “easy-to-spot” nutrition gimmicks, provide tips to make healthy eating easier and more!
Our Stay on Track session with Dr. Oake will take place at Budimir Library on Thursday, February 9 from 2:00-3:00pm.
