She&#8217;s popular, has lots of friends, and oh yes, she models.\u00a0Annabel is perfect and\u00a0has everything. Or so it seems. Unfortunately, her life is\u00a0quite a distance from being perfect, starting with her sister&#8217;s eating\u00a0disorder and\u00a0her badly-ended friendship with her best friend.\u00a0With hardly any choice, Annabel\u00a0isolates herself from the rest of\u00a0the world and retreats\u00a0into silence, thinking this is the way she was meant to be.\u00a0But then she meets music-intense Owen who has\u00a0anger management issues\u00a0but\u00a0always tells the truth. Soon, Annabel begins to\u00a0learn her true self and learns to\u00a0obtain\u00a0the confidence she lost the night\u00a0she and her best friend stopped being friends.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS;\">\u00a0The New York Times best-selling author, Sarah Dessen, leads her readers into a new\u00a0perspective as we\u00a0put on the glasses of a girl who looks perfect. However,\u00a0as we know, looks are deceiving.\u00a0From the start of the novel, we meet Annabel on\u00a0television as a model but as the novel begins to progress, we learn that she hates modeling and finds a huge interest in music, which connects her with Owen, the\u00a0big angry guy who&#8217;s\u00a0never see without his iPod.\u00a0Many areas of the book caused me to burst with\u00a0intense emotion while others sparked a new type of laughter in me,\u00a0but at the\u00a0end,\u00a0my satisfaction was filled to the rim. Looking for a packed novel with every emotion attached?
