Overdue and unreturned materials cost Windsor Public Library a substantial amount of money annually and more importantly, adversely affect the ability of other customers to access these materials. For WPL to continue to provide the best possible service and the widest selection of resources, we have implemented the following overdue policy. Overdue notices will be sent to customers via email or via phone (patron may select between the 2 options) on the following schedule:
If an item is not returned by the time it is 60 days overdue, the customer's account will enter the new collection process that has been adopted by WPL. If a customer's account reaches this point, an additional $15.00 service charge will apppear on the customer's account in addition to any existing overdue and/or processing charges. Please remember that all Library card privileges are suspended when the charges on a library card reach $10 (this limit applies to adults, young adults and children). Please return all materials when they are due. This allows us to circulate them for the use and enjoyment of others. Overdue fines will accrue on the following schedule:
ILLO Overdue: The loan period is determined by the LENDING library, and is subject to their
renewal policies. Renewals are granted at the discretion of the lending library. Charge per Extra Day per Item $1.00 |
