All non-residents or visitors requesting library cards must provide appropriate identification clearly showing your name and home address. More than one piece of ID may be required to verify both identity and residence.
Acceptable forms of ID include but are not limited to:
- Passport
- Ontario driver's license
- Ontario health card
- Utilities bill
- Personalized cheque book
- Pay stub
- Government cheque
Visitors from outside Canada may also use the following ID:
- Valid driver's license issued in country/state/region of home address
- Valid government ID issued in country of home address
- Valid immigration documentation from Immigration Canada (eg Visitor Visa)
- Valid passport
