The Adult Literacy Office maintains a large collection of
high-interest, low-level materials specifically for the use of tutors
and learners in the literacy program. These include read-along tapes,
educational games, CD-ROMS and flashcards.
All branches of the Windsor Public Library house a Tutor Worksheet Binder. The Tutor worksheet Binder is an invaluable resource compiled of various worksheets, activities and information aimed at assisting tutors in lesson planning.

The Learning Edge is an “interactive online literacy newspaper”. It is specifically designed for adult literacy students. It provides great interactive modules, highlighted text stories accompanied by learning activities, voice and animated speakers. Regardless of the learner's level of computer skills this can be a great lesson for tutors to assist the learner with.
Sections include: paying a utility bill, missing work, street safety, consumer awareness – (reading labels) and classified ads.
