Brian Bell was appointed to his current position as CEO in November 2006 - after serving as acting CEO since October 2004. Prior to his appointment as acting CEO, Mr. Bell was seconded to the City of Windsor Human Resources Department where he was responsible for negotiating major contracts and agreements with various city unions. Previous to that at Windsor Public Library, he headed all human resources initiatives as well as directing the finance and property departments. Before his position with the Windsor Public Library Mr. Bell worked throughout Ontario in various Human Resource positions with the Royal Bank. Mr. Bell received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of
Western Ontario and also has a diploma in Industrial Relations
from Woodsworth College. More recently, he earned an MBA and LLB
from the University of Windsor. |
