Windsor Public Library is proud to play a leadership role in advocating for and providing equitable access to technology and digital information to bridge the digital divide. The Tech Hub is a place where people are connected with tools to express their creativity and desire to learn.

Equipment and Resources
– LEARNING STATIONS –
► Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for anyone making interactive projects. It’s a great way for beginners of all ages to learn about coding.
► LittleBits are easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower you to invent anything, from a remote controlled car, to a smart home device. The Bits snap together with magnets, no soldering, wiring or programming needed.
► Makey Makey is an electronic invention tool and toy that allows users to connect everyday objects to computer programs using a circuit board, alligator clips, and a USB cable. Learning electronics is easy and fun. We turn bagels, flowers and even people into pianos.
► Sphero and Ollie are app-enabled robots that do it all. Intelligent and well-rounded, Sphero lets you play, learn, and explore.
– CREATION STATIONS –
► GarageBand Electronic Music: a music creation studio with sound library, instruments and voice. We offer a keyboard, bass, guitar, microphones and even a drum set.
► 3D Printers: we have 3D printers for the public to use. We print in PLA plastic, and we charge 50 cents/half-hour of printing. Check out our 3D Printing FAQ sheet.
Forest Glade Library has The Ultimate 2.
Seminole, Bridgeview and Chisholm libraries also have 3D printers available for public use.
► Go Pro and Olympus Cameras: used for action and extreme action photography. We also have computers with video editing software so you can create your own video.
► Intuos Tablet: Wish you could draw right into the computer? Now you can! The Intuos table lets you sketch in Photoshop, Silhouette and many other design programs.
