Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is an actress, singer, and television host.
MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario on April 17, 1987. Her background includes Cree, Scottish, French, and Brazilian ancestry. She is a half sister to Dani Probert, the wife of the late NHL player Bob Probert. She moved to Toronto at the age of 18 to pursue an acting career, enrolling into acting classes at Ryerson University, Centre of the Arts and the Armstrong Acting Studio. Her first role was “the hair girl” in A First Choice Hair Cutter’s commercial. Her first major role was as the host of the television series “Gamer Girlz.”
In 2008, the actress moved to Los Angeles. There she landed the role of fashion executive “Steffy Forrester” on the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. For her work on this show, MacInnes Wood has received two Daytime Emmy nominations in the category of “Outstanding Younger Actress” in 2012 and 2013.
Her other television credits include guest roles on Arrow, Anger Management, Castle, and as the host of the travel series Party On. Her film credits include Final Destination 5, Nightmare at the End of the Hall, and Her Husband’s Betrayal.
In addition to acting, Wood is also a singer. In 2012 She released her debut dance single, “After Hours.”
