Bubble Painting Saturday at the Central Library.

What could be more fun than bubbles AND painting? Please join us at the Central Library for the first installment of Crafty Science this Saturday, July 5th at 3:00 pm. This program is designed to teach kids basic science lessons and give them something fun to take home and show off. This week we’ll be learning about bubbles and primary colours through a bubble painting craft in red, yellow, and blue.

This simple bubble paint includes only four ingredients, dish soap, water, tempera paint, and white glue. Parents take note, I have attempted to keep this craft as fabric safe as possible. However, the tempera paint used is only washable from most fabrics so please keep this in mind when selecting an outfit for the day. Today would be a good day for play clothes!

No registration is required and all materials are provided. Children of all ages are welcome with a caregiver. For more information call Kate at 519-255-6770 x. 4434. The program will be held at the Central Library at 850 Ouellette near the Ouellette entrance.
