Photographer Leah Denbok to Appear at Central Library on September 30th

Windsor Public Library is pleased to welcome photographer and author, Leah Denbok for a presentation and discussion this coming Saturday, September 30th. Ms. Denbok will be speaking about her art and her upcoming book, ‘Nowhere to Call Home – Photographs and Stories of the Homeless’. For the past three years, Collingwood native, Leah has been capturing images of homeless individuals in an attempt to raise awareness of the plight of homelessness in Canada. At only 17 years old, Leah’s work has received a great deal of positive media attention and she was recently featured on CBC’s, ‘The National‘.

The program will take place at 1:00 pm in the Living Room at Central Library, where Leah’s work will also be on display.

Don’t forget to visit Denbok’s website and her Instagram to see some of the portraits that will be on display on Saturday.
