Holidays Around The World

Come celebrate at Holidays Around the World, a multicultural holiday event, taking place on Wednesday, December 18 from 6 to 8 pm in the Children’s Learning Centre on the first floor at Windsor Public Library’s Central Branch, 850 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor.

Holidays Around the World will feature stories, arts & crafts, as well as festive cultural displays and performances. Enjoy Jangles the Clown, Painted-Smile face painting, St. John’s Therapy Dogs, and NFB holiday movies. Pin a personalized message of hope on the Peace Tree, too!

The evening will begin with local performers including a featured performance by a classical erhu musician and newcomer youth showcasing their talents in song, flute, guitar, and dance. Holiday display tables from many nations including China, Sudan, Ethiopia, and El Salvador will also be featured and refreshments will be served. Please join us, won’t you?

This program is presented by Windsor Public Library in cooperation with New Canadians’ Centre of Excellence Inc.
