Planning future transportation networks within the City of Windsor

For those who travel on the roads of south-central Windsor, add the environmental assessment report recently presented to City Council to your to-read list.  This study, which considers the Dominion Boulevard corridor, the Dougall Avenue/Ouellette Avenue corridor and the Howard Avenue corridor, examines traffic operations, transportation network improvements, pedestrian and bikeway connections, and impacts to existing infrastructure and utilities.

A copy of the three volume Central Box Area study is available for public viewing at the Central Branch (second floor) for thirty days, starting July 25, 2016.  It is also available for review at the City of Windsor Clerk’s office (350 City Hall Square West), City of Windsor Public Works office (1266 McDougall Street), or the office of Stantec Consulting (100-140 Ouellette Place Windsor).  You can also link to the report on the project website.
