Special Saturday Crafternoon!

I’m more excited than usual — and that’s saying something — for this Saturday’s Crafternoon. I found an awesome craft on the site My Activity Maker that I’m super excited to share with all of you.

We’ll be bringing in one of my favourite books, Robert Munsch’s  the Paper Bag Princess, and bringing it to life with one of most appropriate paper bag puppets of all time! What a fun way to celebrate an awesome book and be crafty at the same time.

This week’s program will feature the book and we’ll read it first and discuss it before moving onto this awesome craft. If you’ve never made it out to a Crafternoon now would be a great time to try it!

The program will take place at 3 pm on Saturday in the children’s area of the Central library at 850 Ouellette. Children of all ages are welcome with a caregiver and registration is not required, the more the merrier! For more information contact Kate at 519-255-6770 x. 4434.
