Child and youth narrators

You may have read or heard from the media how an unpublished work by Harper Lee is to be released as sequel to her classic novel TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.  One of the elements of Mockingbird which made it great fiction is the skillful use of a child narrator. When a novel is told from the point of view of a child, adult readers experience the events of the story in two ways: immediately, along with the young person and then also as a concerned adult who can foresee developments the child can not anticipate.

Here are some other novels with child or youth narrators.
