October is Canadian Library Month, and from the 19th to the 25th libraries in Ontario are celebrating Ontario Public Library Week. This year’s theme is Libraries Inspire, and throughout the month library lovers from across Canada have logged into librarymonth.ca to share personal accounts of how libraries and librarians have helped shape their lives.
We have a lot to celebrate…
Over 97% of Canadians live in communities that are served by a public library, and over 21 million Canadians hold a public library card. Libraries make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, and add vitality to the communities they serve.
On Saturday, October 25th from 10-6 we’ll be celebrating Ontario Public Library week at Windsor’s Family Aquatic Complex/Adventure Bay.
